Improved 3 + 2 Management
A lot of work has been done to improve and simplify the management of positioning machining for VISI 16. New options include a direct link to the machine’s mechanical constraints which allows the operator to verify and check possible machine orientations and the ability to generate “virtual plane” orientations which are becoming quiet common for certain types of machines (typically DMU).
Tool Library

A new tools management system is now available in VISI 16. This new system not only allows you to organise your tool rooms but it also allows: cribs definitions, the ability to link machines to cribs, the ability to import external data format, the ability to create assemblies and ability to share the DB between multiple stations and others.
Toolpath Laboratory

An improved suite for toolpath editing/verification has been made available in VISI 16. The toolpath laboratory has some unique features such as: the ability to display the toolpath by consistent feeds or by type of elements, the ability to jump form level to level, the ability to show the toolpath points and the ability to interactively display (within a tooltip box) any information relative to a selected toolpath point.
